About Helen Entwistle
Helen Entwistle studied BA Illustration in the early 1990's. At that time she explored the processes of Assemblage, combining drawings with found and constructed objects to illustrate a range of topics. This also inspired her to explore the world of animation.
Helen's more recent work has moved away from mixed media and into paint and canvas. She uses acrylic to apply bold, flat colour but with the same 'cut and paste' approach to her images. She varies her subject matter with a landscape or pet portrait, her other topics illustrating observations of everyday life and human behaviour which are both educational and humourous.
Her work has been used in several publications and press releases.
